Our hard rubber discs can be used well with a range of 3M Support Discs. They maximise the performance of grinding discs, and reduce vibration and rattling. Our hard rubber support discs provide firm, consistent support for 3M Fibre Discs on angle grinders and other sanding and grinding machines. They can be used with a wide range of 3M Backing Discs - just choose the right density for your job. The backing discs, together with the sanding disc's vulcanised fibre backing, improve surface tracking: this delivers a smoother, consistent finish when sanding and grinding. They reduce vibration and rattling that causes discs to deteriorate, and ensure that the ceramic abrasive minerals on the fibre disc continuously self-degrade as intended - instead of breaking off into pieces that are no longer used. Our 22.23 mm diameter centring hole attachment securely attaches to sanding and grinding tools with a clamping nut*. With our support disc for fibre discs, you will get optimal results from any finishing operation on car bodies and from all your bodywork work.
